Izyan is a senior associate in I.R.B. Law LLP. She graduated from the University of Leicester with an LLB (Honours) and was admitted to the bar as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2018.
Izyan has experience in family law, both in the area of Non-Muslim family law and Muslim family law. She is well-versed in matters under the Family Justice Courts and the Syariah Court. She has acted for clients in a wide range of processes including divorce applications, interim applications and variation applications. These contentious applications cover issues such as custody, care and control and access to the children, maintenance of the wife and children, division of matrimonial assets and personal protection matters.
Izyan also advises clients on drafting of Wills which includes Faraid-compliant Wills. She also assists clients with Power of Attorney and Lasting Power of Attorney. Izyan also advises clients on Probate and/or Grant of Letters of Administration matters.
Izyan also has experience in civil matters such as debt recovery and bankruptcy matters.
